School of Education
The School of Education at Lukenya College was established in 2014 and is dedicated to training competent, ethical, and innovative educators for Kenya and beyond. Since its inception, the department has experienced steady growth and has successfully graduated over 300 teachers who are now serving in both public and private institutions. Our programmes are designed to equip trainee teachers with pedagogical expertise, practical teaching skills, and professional values necessary for effective classroom engagement.

Teaching Practicum
Teaching practicum is an integral component of the training programme. During this period, trainees apply theoretical knowledge in real classroom settings and are evaluated by both internal supervisors and external assessors.
Our graduates are highly regarded for their professionalism, competence, and readiness to serve in diverse educational environments.

Trainees undertake teaching practicum as part of their training, where they gain real-world classroom experience and are assessed both internally and externally.
All national examinations are administered by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
